In its 12th year, Coachella — out in Southern California’s desert, 125 miles east of Los Angeles — is the king of the American alternative rock festivals, with attendance of up to 60,000 on each of its three days. The acclaimed music festival takes place annually in April at the breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful Empire Polo Field in Indio, CA. The festival has been described as "The Best American Festival" by ROLLING STONE magazine.
